Morten is about the same age as Lola and she's convinced he will want to play with her and become her new "friend down the stairs." Morten, however, seems to ignore all Lola's attempts to play with him and doesn't say a word. Lola begins to think Morten doesn't like her, but finds that sometimes it takes a while for some people to come out of their shell.
