The real-life soap returns for its 16th series, beginning by following the Towie gang on another Spanish jaunt for a final summer slice of partying, sun, sea and drama in Marbella. The gang's Marbella escapades continue and, while Lewis gets body beautiful in Essex, the boys spot a beauty of their own in Spain - Lewis' ex-girlfriend Nicole.

Ferne and Chloe Lewis clash again, but Ferne's day brightens when she bumps into Liam. With Nicole now back in town, Lewis takes his chance to catch up with her.

Tensions come to a head between Lewis and Mike, Jake confronts Mike about his recent remarks and Danni extracts a confession out of Nicole.

Arg and Lydia are in turmoil yet again thanks to his lies, Dan and Kate talk over their broken relationship and Lewis continues to make a play for Nicole.
