It's time for the annual firehouse chili cook-off, and everyone is excited to impress the chief, but judge Terry is affected by his wisdom teeth surgery and the drugs that go along with it.

A flashback to how Terry and Vicky met and were set up by Eddie as a prank years ago. Terry, Eddie and Vicky all have very different memories of the event, but all involve Terry eating.

The station receives a sexual harassment complaint, requiring the Crew to participate in a sexual bias seminar. Eddie falls for the teacher and tries to navigate the thorny process of how to pick up the Sexual Bias Trainer.

An upgrade at Station 24 brings Inferna, a new Artificial Intelligence system, intended to improve the station's efficiency and safety. While the crew enjoys the perks of a "smart" station, Eddie grows suspicious of Inferna's true agenda.

Terry is serious about his "No Station Birthday Parties" policy, but the Crew is set on ignoring it upon finding out it's Andy's 9th Leap Year birthday. Pulling it off might be mission impossible.

When Terry throws out his back, Eddie becomes the interim Chief, which creates tension over whose methods are best.

When Lucy's secret date with a Tacoma police officer ends in embarrassment, the firefighters and the local police struggle to manage the aftermath.

Eddie learns his divorce lawyer was never really a lawyer and that his multiple divorces were never really finalized. The crew chips in for the latest Pedalton bike for the station but all fall for the same trainer.

It's Thanksgiving Day in the station, and as usual, Terry wants to do everything his way, but no one gets their way once an engine breaks down. Spatchcock, an irritating mechanic, is summoned at the TFD.

The annual TFD Pickleball Tournament is underway and Terry & Eddie's team are long-running-and-very-cocky station champs, but the crew has plans to finally take them and their attitudes down.
