Weak Layers (2023)

During Kargil Diwas celebrations, Major Monica gets suspicious about the Chef Serving desert to the CM. A fatal chase ensues and Monica has a gut feeling that there is more than what meets the eye.

The assassin's autopsy indicates that he was from the army. The Case is handed over to CBI and Major Monica Mehra tries to investigate and collect a few documents related to the case even after being warned by DSP Qureshi.

Major Monica gets attacked by someone who was found sifting through Pankaj Thapar's belonging. Monica nearly escapes death but manages to save some important evidences. Through a thorough investigation, Monica finds out that the target on Kargil Day was Mohinder Sandhu and not the CM.

Monica deduces that the vigilante group is targeting all those who have brought harm to the Indian soldiers by their corrupt practices. Monica finds out about 'commander'.

Deepak who was tailing Monica, gets tailed by her instead and Monica gets inside a secret warehouse where Commander runs his operations from. Monica finds a lead and decides to chase it all by herself only to be shocked to the core by what she finds.

The ghost from Monica's past is back to haunt her. Vikram Mehra tells her how it all began. CBI gets alerted by Monica's action and they trace her to the location where she is confronting Vikram.

Qureshi confronts Monica for breaching his team's trust and gives her a warning. Monica plays ball with Vikram Mehra and manages to pass 'the test' with flying colours.

Monica at the heart of vengeance, manages to have a break through with Vikram but it gets too late as the CM's security attacks them. Mehras are in deep trouble and at last, an unlikely ally saves Monica, shaking her whole world to the core.
