The work party is a blur for Laura and Tom. A sober Emily leads them to a hotel and puts them in a compromising position that threatens Laura's marriage.

Emily's furious she's getting the cold shoulder from Laura. In a pestle and mortar, she crushes a powder. Laura returns to work and receives an ominous letter.

After confessing to Emily about her past, Laura is ready to get her life back. Emily, meanwhile, has other plans - leading to a final standoff, as an intense struggle for power ensues.
